Hands-on learning: Student Council helps winterize the school garden and plant kale & root vegetable seeds that will grow under mini greenhouses made of plastic sheeting for an early spring harvest.

3- and 4-year-old children from across the district can participate in a half-day of learning in the Young Explorers Early Childhood program at Westmoor School.

A Refuge for Saving Wildlife (and exotic birds) visited to share with 4th grade. they learned about their habits and had the chance to touch the soft feathers of pigeons and a cockatiel.
